Hi all.
Quick question.
My folders have recently started to have an annoying line on the right side. I have move it manually each time I open a folder ( see pictures attached.)
What setting or option gets rid of this? Seems to have just started on its own..

View Menu, uncheck Show Preview.

Barney did not say "click View Options", he said choose "Hide Preview" from the View menu.
Just to be clear, the View menu in the Finder Menu Bar.
Thanks for your reply but it didn't work. I right clicked on a folder, clicked show view options, unchecked show icon preview and then clicked use as defaults. Looks the same. Any other thoughts?
