Remote Control my Mom's iPad

Good Afternoon,

My Mom is isolated in an assisted living facility. We use FaceTime to chat with her, but have to call her on her cell phone first to help her answer the FaceTime call. With dementia setting in (accelerated by Covid-19 isolation), she is struggling to use the iPad.

Is there a creative way I can connect to her iPad from my apple device (iMac, MacBook, iPhone or iPad)? I'd like to help her use Netflix or play some games. She get frustrated trying to manipulate the device. And we cannot just go see her to help. It's an awful situation. I just want to remotely open Netflix and choose something to watch. Or, open a game she likes.

I've seen some commercial enterprise products like TeamViewer. These get expensive once you add Mobile Device Management on top. If there are no other options, this is likely what I'll do.

Thanks,

Mike
