I cannot paste my copied text from one application to another application

It’s changed. Not sure how you guys used to to it but I’d hold down my finger on some of it to select. That doesn’t work, but double tapping a word does, so frustrating as still trying the old way and I only found the double click by accident recently

Clear Temporary Internet Files:

As for cleaning up "Paste" issues, when is the last time you cleared your Temporary Internet Files (Cookies & Cache) of Safari?

So, clear both:

• Cookies perform remembrance of certain site-entered data.
• Cache keeps a snapshot of the last time you visited a site.

I’m having the same problem. I‘ve copied something from my email and tried to paste it into a text, and it won’t paste. I’ve tried doing the same thing in my Notes just to see if it will work and it’s still not working. I tried to “cut” instead of copy and it did cut the info but now it won’t even paste back to my original email that I was working on. Frustrating...

Inform Apple of how you came across this, and how you have troubleshot this thus far. To do so, leave them feedback. They won’t get back to you directly, but the more they know if it, the more they will know watt is going on and what needs to be fixed

Not sure if this is relevant now. I just got the new software update and I just double tapped really quickly and it worked for text messages. I can now copy a text message and then cut, copy, paste whatever it is now.

Use this app: Clipboard++ It keeps a history of what you copy. See what happens when you use it - it may be just what you need. You can get it right on the App Store; just search for in in the App Store, by typing the word: clipboard in the search button (bottom-right of the screen).

Well, I can’t offer much. After the new update I have no problem pasting from one app to another, or even from one device to another. I can copy on my iPhone and paste what I have copied into an app on my iPad or Mac. All I can suggest is a restart (which I’m sure you have already tried), or restore iOS using your computer.

I’m using an iPhone 6s and have copy and paste issues with 13.5.1. It was working in previous iOS versions and I have also cleared my cache across all installed web browsers. If I select the text and choose the “Look Up” option and perform a web search, I can copy the text from the browser and paste it elsewhere.

My iPhone XI just updated to iOS 14 started to fail copying, but I notice that issue comes when it is between apps.

if you use the notes in the middle you can copy in my case from Firefox, to notes, and from notes to gmail.

i assume this is something that apps or apple should fix soon.

I can’t even copy now. No matter how long I hold down the options just don’t show. Not sure if it’s iOS 14 or iPhone 2020 se as just upgraded both, so annoying. And it’s even my own stuff like a message I’m typing and want to copy it for use later so frustrating

OK clearly this is been a problem for a while and Apple still hasn’t fixed it. I just got a brand new apple iPad air fourth generation. I’ve had Apple products for over 15 years I know how to cut and paste and copy. I like everyone else on this thread don’t even get an option to copy select select all etc. This is getting very frustrating. Apple what the heck? These devices are way too expensive to keep having these ridiculous major inconveniences!!!!!!!🤬
