My Next backup size is listed as 148.23GB and I have the 200GB iCloud storage, but I'm still getting the error message that I don't have enough storage.

I can't figure out why my iCloud storage isn't working even though the next backup size is smaller than my iCloud storage size

I would assume that you already have other files stored in iCloud?


To check go to: Settings > [your iCloud account name] > iCloud > and see what the graph shows and how much free storage you have.
