Hot to remove lateral stripes on external monitor iPad Pro 11 and iOS 13

I’m using a usb C to DP cable to connect my iPad to an external monitor and the monitor shows a black stripes in each lateral side of the monitor. How can I remove it?

iPad Pro m2 stage manager to external monitor I’m having difficulty connecting my new iPad Pro M2 to an external monitor to use stage manager. My external monitor is mirroring my iPad instead of being an additional work space to move windows into. I’m using an Anker 6-1 hub to connect the HDMI to HDMI cable from the monitor to the iPad Pro. Any idea why I’m only mirroring the content?

If the monitor is not the same shape (aspect ratio) as your iPad there will always be black bars on two sides so it can show the entire iPad image without distortion.
