I do not really consider a laptop or desktop computer a “device”, per se.
I interpret “device” as smaller handheld items, like a smart phone or another tablet by another maker.
I consider anything that is electronic, which is not Apple to be a device and I believe that is what the OP was asking. A Mac is a device. A PC is a device.
