New iPad Pro 2 bought in Jan 2020

Sometimes when I click on a link in an email instead of sending me to a new full page URL, the iPad pops up a skinny vertical panel on the right side of the screen that makes the new site unusuable. When this format switch happens, I can’t get back to a normal URL full screen transfer. Thanks for any help you can offer me. Mark

Toggle Between Hyperlink in an Email in Mail and Safari. So here’s the problem: I own an iPhone 12 and before today, anytime I opened a hyperlink in any email using my Mail app, the link would open in Safari. Whenever I wanted to return to my email, all I had to do was click the word “mail” in the upper left corner of my screen. Today, for whatever reason, the word “mail” has changed to the word “search” and when I press the word “search” the entire screen on my phone turns blurry. No words, no command options, nothing but one big blur. Can anyone please help me get my iPhone back to how I explained it was b4 today. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated; thanks in advance.

Link When I select a link in an email on my IPad Air, the link pulls up a screen image that takes up the right one third of the screen instead of the full screen. How can I avoid this problem?
