Since update 15.1 I am unable to share a url link to email

When I try to share a link to email it creates a DRAFT that starts loading and gets stuck. The only way to stop it is to power down the iPad. Also, what are the tiny email pages that show up at the bottom of the page and don’t respond or open to touch? Confusing and frustrating.

Share to Email in Flipboard Does Not open Email, Crashes Flipboard I have an iPhone 8. Just updated to iOS 16.6. Previously, in Flipboard app, I could tap the share icon, select the email icon, and my email app would open so I could send a link to the article in an email. Now, in Flipboard app, when I tape the share icon, and select the email icon, not only does my email app NOT open, but also Flipboard immediately closes and must be re-launched. Nothing has changed except that overnight iOS updated.

New iPad Pro 2 bought in Jan 2020 Sometimes when I click on a link in an email instead of sending me to a new full page URL, the iPad pops up a skinny vertical panel on the right side of the screen that makes the new site unusuable. When this format switch happens, I can’t get back to a normal URL full screen transfer. Thanks for any help you can offer me. Mark

Hi there laurene210,

We understand you're experiencing an issue with sending an email from a shared URL.

Do you experience this issue when sharing to Mail from other apps?

Are you able to create an email draft through the Mail app directly?
