Use Migration Assistant which will create a new user account. Once the transfer is complete logout of the current user account and log into the new account which was just transferred. You can then use "Users & Groups" System Preferences to delete the old user account. If you have data in this account, then make sure to transfer to the new migrated user account before deleting the account. You may need to temporarily move the data to the "Shared Folder" located in the "/Users" folder.

Or you can manually transfer your data by copying the data to a USB drive or enable File Sharing to manually transfer your documents to the Mac's current user account.
