Why my apple tv doesn’t show all the music I have in my Itunes? Just a few songs

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

The Music app on Apple TV (4th generation or later) is intended to stream from online sources such as the iTunes Store and Apple Music. This app is not intended for Home Sharing. For Home Sharing, use the Computers app, then the Music tab.

It doesn’t seem that difficult to understand to me but let me try to explain further: I have songs in Itunes in my Mac and my ipad music. I was expecting those to be accesible in my apple tv, but they are not. Just a few of them show up. My question is why?
