Forgotten Passcode

I have an old iPhone 6 that I want to use at the beach for my apple music. Its' been years since I've used this phone and I've forgotten the passcode. I've tried a hard reset, but iTunes won't let me restore the phone because it says the device can't be found. How can I erase the passcode and get into the phone? I don't care if I erase the phone. (I also have no idea which computer I used to update through iTunes in the past).

You can reset your passcode by following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ How to reset your passcode on a disabled iPhone. You will need a computer for this task and all your data on your iPhone will be wiped clean in the process.

Let us know whether the computer that you use still cannot find the device after following the instructions. Thanks.
