I backed up my iphone so that i can reset it because the “other” category was taking up all of my storage. But once it turned back on I pressed restore iCloud backup and I think it’s done but I don’t see any of my messages

If you're using iCloud Syncing for Messages, messages are not part of your back up. However, they should reappear when you log back into iCloud.
