In May, I bought AirPods (model# on box starts with A2032). I have paired them successfully with my iPad and Apple TV. But I would also like to pair them with a bluetooth wireless audio transmitter (for use with my TV). Can I pair the AirPods with both Apple and non-Apple devices? Once I pair them to the bluetooth transmitter, can I then go back and use them with my iPad or Apple TV?

Set up AirPods with your Mac and other Bluetooth devices
Switching back-and-forth should work in theory, but there can be issues with the automatic switching. If so, go to the Control Center, select the Music icon, and change the output option.
