Question about iPod touch 8

We are end users like you, WE DO NOT KNOW.

And we will find out just like you will...when/if Apple makes an announcement that they are releasing one.

Until then, either enjoy the 7th gen or wait months/years until there’s an 8th gen, if there ever is an 8th gen.

Let's be clear.

Until Apple make an announcement, there is no iPod Touch 8.

If you try to speculate about it, it is likely that our hosts will remove your post.

Given that Apple averages 3-5 years between iPod models I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I don't bother keeping up with things like that, so I haven't heard anything. Have you seen or heard an announcement from Apple about a new iPod?

If you have, then if they announced the product but not its availability, you will simply have to wait. Not only that, but its availability will depend on where in the world you are located. Although the US and parts of Europe may get a new model at the same time, it's not a forgone conclusion. Availability elsewhere could be very different.

If your source of information about any new iPod is somewhere other than Apple, I would ignore it and wait for Apple to make their own announcement. It's the only one that matters.

Apple don't allow speculation about their future announcements, or lack of announcement here, so unless it was an official Apple commercial I would ignore it.
