ios update 13.5.1 changed iphone sounds

After the update to 13.5.1 all of my notification sounds and ringtone were changed. I had to go into settings and change sounds for everything - phone, email, text, calendar alerts... everything. Now I am left with an annoying chime sound that I cannot connect to any alert or notification, and so I cannot turn it off. I look at my phone immediately after the chime and there is no indication as to why it chimed.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hello Denise,

We see that you're receiving an unexpected chime sound on your iPhone.

On the iPhone, if you go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics, do you see the chime listed here for any notification? If not, try restarting and updating:

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're still having trouble with the chime sound, try reinstalling iOS. Before you proceed, please back up your data using the steps below. Reinstalling iOS only overwrites iOS on the device, and does not affect personal data, but it’s always recommended to have a backup first: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Once you've verified that your backup is current, follow the steps below to reinstall iOS on your iPhone. Keep in mind that this article was written for a different issue, but these steps will still be helpful. Also be aware, you'll want to click the "Update" button and not the "Restore" button when prompted as the "Restore" button will restore the device to factory settings: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen

Have a great day.
