Monitor and iPad Pro

Connecting a Mac to a monitor, it is possible to close it and use only the monitor with a mouse/trackpad and a keyboard connected via Bluetooth. Is it possible to do the same with an iPad Pro (12.9” 2018), closing the Smart Folio cover?
