Apple Pay

Hello, I have a problem with ApplePay. The card was checked correctly. The verification was successful, but nothing happens at all at the payment terminal. It has been tried in multiple places and everywhere the same problem. There was no problem on the iPhone7 on the iPhone 7 plus I have just the above problem. Please advise and thank you in advance.

Hello Kamila,

From your post, it appears that you have experience with a previous iPhone (iPhone 7) using Apple Pay. You know how it works. You now have an iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Pay is not performing normally at the terminal. As you know, the method to use Apple Pay on the iPhone 7 Plus is the same as the iPhone 7.


Try the following with your iPhone 7 Plus for Apple Pay--

  1. Force ReStart Your iPhone as shown in this article by Apple ➔ How to Force ReStart Your iPhone. If Apple Pay still does not work at the terminal then-
  2. Manually select the card for payment at the terminal. Open the Wallet app and then select the card for payment. After that, hold the iPhone near the terminal with your finger rested on the Touch ID. See if that works. If not then-
  3. Get home and remove the card and re-add it. Try Apple Pay again. If that does not work then-
  4. Please contact product and tech support: ➔ Contacting Apple for support and service. You may even have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or an Authorized Service Center if they are open.
