My friends daughter lost/stolen her iPhone 11 sometime last night. She has forgotten her password to Apple ID which requires a two step authentication (code sent to her mobile). Is there a way to reset her password without a code being sent to her phone. She then can possibly use find my iPhone on another iPhone to see if they can locate her phone.

She needs to have turned on Find My iPhone. See the steps in the first link below especially, but don't ignore the second.
