Movie green screen problem

Hello!

I'm experimenting with creating interesting backdrop in iMovie with the green screen feature. (This is just me testing the program to learn how it works and see if it looks good.) I'm encountering this weird problem:

In the first screenshot (an image taken from the iMovie workspace, the composite image looks fine, but when I save the file (in the second screenshot,) the left side of one of the image layers cuts off, ruining the desired illusion,. What causes this> How do I fix it?

That can happen is you have your crop settings at Ken Burns or Crop to Fill. Select the clip in the timeline and click on the crop icon (the one that looks like intersecting angles) in the tool bar at the top right of your screen. In the selection box that appears, click on the "Fit" selection. Now see if you can export it as an image without the left side being cut off.

You can learn a lot by practicing with a few test videos and trying out the various iMovie features.
