MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, 2017) - Charging problems

I have a MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, 2017), that is not charging properly, losing charge while connected to the standard Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter. While connected, with the charging icon showing connected and the % - The system report notes that the charger is 15 watt, not 30 watt and it shows the charger "  ID: 0x0000" - Any thoughts? Also, will a higher watt MacBook Pro charger work with lower powered C - connector MacBooks?

Thanks!

Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve the issue.

Also if you use higher wattage charger, your Mac is charged normally, though you should use proper charger.
