Cannot Upgrade

I have an iMac mid 2010 with 16gb of memory, but i'm not able to upgrade to Mojave nor Catalina, why?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

Both Mojave and Catalina require a 2012 Mac or newer to support Metal Graphics.
