IPOD RESET

My ipod got disabled, I was able to use itunes to try and unblock it but when I get to the activation lock it says "You cant use this apple id", what possibly might be the issue?

Your iPod is locked with Activation Lock, an anti-theft feature. It requires the ID and password that it was originally activated with. Otherwise, it is useless. See: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201365
