my air pods stopped syncing to my Acer laptop

after experiencing that my air pods stopped syncing to my Acer lap top, I also noticed that the name (Air Pods) has changed to something else very different. leters and symbols for example..

; 'yH (symbols) & #> ? g (more symbols) and it goes on and on.

Why does this happen and how can I fix it this issue?
