Clicked on a bad link

I was on Pinterest and accidentally clicked on the picture and it took me through several websites very fast and ended up on a dodgy looking website. I then accidentally clicked on the picture again (oops) and it took me to a different website that also looked very dodgy. Ever since my phone has been very hot and running slow at time. Is this something I should be worried about?
