Tried the new iPhone SE 2020 but the home button can't really be used with gloves on and gloves are very neccesary for my work so I can't have a phone that requires me to constantly have to take off my gloves. I know I can use assistive touch to get round this but I'd rather not have to. I wear both latex and rubber gloves a lot so I need a phone that can be used with those especially. Can the iPhone 11 or the iPhone 11 MAX be used with gloves? Thanks.
I will have to take back what I said. I am doing this now on my iPad with nitrile gloves on with no problem. I also accessed my iPhone XR without any problem. It does not have a home button. Hope that helps.
You can’t use Touch ID with gloves because it is the pressure of the whorls in your fingerprint that activate it. A phone with Face ID will work, but not if you are wearing a mask. If you mean you can’t use the HOME button at all, not even to press it, I’m surprised, but an iPhone 11 should still work as the equivalent to the HOME button is to swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
You cannot wear latex or rubber gloves and still use an iPhone. I have a stylus that I can use on my phone but it is single touch to try to type anything.
I was using latex gloves and was able to use the iPhone SE 2020 screen only yesterday. It was the home button that I couldn't use. Surely an iPhone without a home button such as the 11/11 Max will work providing I don't use fingerprint ID and use a passcode instead?

All iPhone screens will be the same.
The iPhone SE 2020 screen can be used with gloves but it's the home button that gave me trouble. So if it's not got a home button then it should be ok?
Do you use a pass code instead of fingerprint ID?
