Wifi difficulties with iPod 5th gen. touch

My 5th generation iPod (9.3.5) easily connects to my home and the public transport (bus) wifi, but no longer connects to the wifi at work (grocery store). It connected up until about a week ago. A check mark appears next to the wifi name, and the bars up in the corner light- up solid, but... nothing. Wifi doesn't work. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Try resetting iPod touch’s network settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPod touch prior to resetting its settings.
