Apple Watch not pairing

I have an iphone 6 Plus and a series 4 watch. I have had no issues with pairing or having it work until yesterday. My daughter unpaired my watch to use it and now that I'm getting it back it won't pair. Everything is charged up but message I'm getting is: unpairing everyt time I try then it says my iphone is out of date so I choose Update Now but when I look it says I have the most current update which is 12.4.7 Frustrated and need some help please. Thank you.

Did your daughter update the watch whikst she was using it?.
