apple tv app on my iPhone never works properly. Especially changing the language... The logic on the app always change the Language to another one!!!! And I can’t adjust the language since it’s only works sometimes. It’s very annoying!
No, that's not how are you change the audio & subtitles at all. To change the audio or subtitles tap the screen once to reveal the navigation bar, airplay and audio options, tap the audio options once to get a full list of both audio and subtitle options.
It works every time.
To change the audio or subtitles with the app, you have to press and hold to the navigation area. It barely works sometimes. I close and reopen the app, close and reopen Nexflix via the app
too. The remote application doesn’t work properly.

No. It’s not work like that. I have an old apple tv and I lost the remote thus I am using remote app. In order to open subtitle/audio:speakers you have to press and hold. If you press once it’s hold and play. Apple tv doesn’t listen the press and hold command all the time. I have to restart at least once every two week...
