Apple Watch screen is popping off

My screen on my Apple Watch is popping off for no reason. It is a series 1, 2nd gen. I got it at the end of 2018. I read in an article that Apple would replace the screen/watch for free if this happened. I’m wondering if that is still possible or how much it would cost?

This is the article:

Hey there, Jennes777.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Thanks for posting about your Apple Watch display troubles. We'd be glad to see how we can help.

Do you notice anything under the display that is pressing on it and causing it to pop off? Your best course of action is going to be having a technician take a look at the Apple Watch to determine the next steps. Without someone physically inspecting the watch, there's not a concrete way to estimate the cost, but we'll provide you with a full list of pricing for service, just in case. Take care!
