Verify a card for Apple Pay, but verification phone number is old/incorrect

I tried adding a card to Apple Pay. When it comes time to send a security code to verify my card the phone number is old. So when I go to Apple Pay to change/add my new number, it is already in my account info and my old number is not. Tried signing out and back in, same thing.

Very weird. Help please!
