Hi everyone.
I understand there is no direct escape function on the new Ipad Pro Magic Keyboard.
I have re-mapped my keyboard so that the OPTION key should now function as the ESCAPE key.
However, I still can't escape anything? I can't escape apps etc. What exactly can you escape on an Ipad?
I have also tried COMMAND + . but that doesn't work either.
Any help here would be much appreciated.

There are very few things that support the escape key. Just about the only thing that it does is exit full screen videos within Safari.
Even i have same question. I have tried to contact Apple support team and even i visited Apple store but no one have any answer.
Till now i found only two things where escape key will function 1. Exit to the full screen mode in safari and 2. Exit from address bar in safari.
Thats all i know.
