Have an instrument cable with 30 pin socket on the end that I used with an old iPad 2. I now wish to use this cable with an iPad Air 2, which has a lightning connector. So what I need is a 30 pin socket (female) to lightning plug (male) so that I can use the instrument cable with the newer iPad Air 2. Any ideas where I might find one, please?

but if you compare the 2 pinouts then I suspect a large range of devices that worked on pin30 would not necessarily work with the converter.

is has a female pin30 and a male lighting
one can also get them with a bit of wire between the female pin30 and make ligthing if thats ones fancy
