ipad pro sd card adapter

I am considering to buy an Ipad Pro but I want to get an answer before purchasing. I was curious if the connection once hooked up is 100% stable? I bought the SD Card reader lightning cable for the macbook pro to transfer images/videos to it, but it constantly connects/disconnects before I can even finish uploading just 1 image by itself, not a whole group.

I love apple products, and really would love an ipad pro, just don't want to waste money if this will be an occurring issue.

Your existing Lightning to SD Card reader should work perfectly well with a compatible iPad - although you should note that current models of iPad Pro now use a USB-C connection in place of Lightning.

As such, if you purchase a 2018/2020 iPad Pro, your existing Lightning accessories are not relevant.

I plan to get the new Ipad pro, along with the usb-c adapter sd card reader as well. I just wanted to see if others had both already and feel the connection is stable enough to not constantly connect and disconnect.
