Any newer iPads can update and use AirPods. As they have bluetooth on.

There would be no reason why they would drop AirPods support as it is still a current product they sell.

One of the best iPads around is the iPad Air 3.

Thank you. Shopping for an iPad but don't want to spend several hundred dollars but, want to make sure I get the right one.
