Is GPS available on Apple Watch 5?

On Apple Watch 5 is there a GPS icon that one can use without cellular service? Thank you!!!

Yes. Both models of Apple watch offer GPS whether or not you are connected to cellular service.

You can use the Apple Maps icon: Find places and explore with Apple Watch - Apple Support

Or use any third party location or navigation App.

Without internet access though, you may not have directions however.
