I have upgraded my iCloud storage to 50 GB and I don’t know what happens if I downgrade it to the free “5 GB”. Does my 50 GB subscription get cancelled? Or does it keep going? If I didn’t really make my question clear, please let me know. Thanks :)

You’re storage above 5GB only persists as long as you’re paying monthly for it.
When you cancel a subscription you will get an email informing you of a 30 day grace period to move your data to somewhere else for safe keeping before it gets purged to get your storage down to 5GB.
