Voicemail Question - Can't see "Greeting", "Edit", or transcribed voicemails

After setting up an iphone 11 and transferring data from an old google pixel 2, I do not have the greeting, edit or transcribed voicemail features other iphones have when I go to phone>voicemail. I am also not getting any notifications for when I have received a voicemail. (Images included below for clarification: one image has the things I am missing circled and the other image is my phone where those features are not present. Do anyone know how to fix this? If I need to contact my carrier (Verizon) to help fix the issue, is there anything specific I need to say?

I have already tried fixing it by:

1. resetting all settings
2. resetting network settings
3. by following the instructions I was emailed from apple support found here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201436
