How to close my Apple Cash account permanently?
Make sure you have a zero balance then go to settings>Wallet & Apple Pay>Apple Cash - turn it off. it is not permanent because you can turn it back on but thats the only way to turn it off.

If you have a negative balance you need to make it zero. other than that there are no fees. there may be a contact umber for Greendot in here - https://applecash.greendot.com/termsconditions/ to see if they can permanently close Apple Cash.

So I made the Apple Cash but I never used it, so can I just close the Apple Cash in the setting and just not use it or do I have to use it?
you can close it and never have to use it again unless you get an Apple Card.
What’s an Apple Card?
It is a credit card with Apple's name on it issued by Goldman Sachs.
