Press and hold keyboard key

Hello,

i have at the moment the the Catalina 10.15.5 version. After an update of my MacBook Air from 2017 i can't type dhe accents of the letters by holding a keyboard button.The key repeat option is turned on on my Mac. What can i do ?

Try this

open Terminal app and type

defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool true
