A forced-restart will often resolve unexpected issues following an OS update:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Other than that, you’ll need to be more specific with details as to issues that you may be experiencing.

Otherwise, it is possible to reinstall the most recent version of iOS/iPadOS supported by your device - but, with only a limited window of opportunity to return to the immediately preceding version (whilst both current and previous versions are still digitally signed by Apple), it is not possible to reinstall an earlier version.

Hopefully a forced-restart will resolve any residual problems.
