no arangement bar in display

There is no arrangement bar in displays, Does that mean I cannot use an HDMI connection? Have a MacBook Pro 15 inch.

The arrange pane only appears AFTER you have successfully connected an additional display. Before then, there is nothing to arrange.


Every MacBook Pro supports adding at least one external display.
