I have “ALWAYS” been able to look back at my last 4 years of doctors appointments. To see when I had a procedure done. Now I can only see back to 2019. What happened? Can I access past calendar events in I cloud. What’s going on? Help! This was my way of documenting medical history appointments! 😳

Thanks for your post! We understand that you are only able to view past events up to a year ago. Make sure that you are still syncing all events.
Settings > Calendar > Sync > All Events
There is also a limit of 50,000 entries total for calendars, events, and reminders; seen here:

In addition, the built in calendar app only shows events for the past year. To go back earlier you need a 3rd party calendar app from the app store like WeekCalendar.
