According to the Apple website instructions, the backup function can be found by going to settings, tapping on your name, and selecting icloud. This no longer works. It just takes you to a page where you can manage iCloud storage, but you have no backup or restore functions. Where have Apple hidden the backup options?

It 's out of date.
It’s correct as written. It refers to the screen I showed you but simply does not display it.
