I am trying to upgrade my Mac Pro to Mojave. There is a link on this page, but when i click it (and App store opens), nothing is shown on the page. No, I don't want to install Catalina. This is not a supported version on my Mac Pro

I am currently on El Capitan and have a 2009 Mac Pro (with an upgrade ATI 5870 graphics card, which allows me a leg up on installations).

Are you using safari to open the link from the support article?
If not please try to open from safari.
Please make sure you have already logged into App store.

+1 on using Safari. There are hundreds of posts here about FireFox not working right for MacOS downloads lately.
You can only download macOS versions on a Mac that the Mac is compatible with. The Mac App Store sees to that. A Mac Pro 2009 wouldn’t be able to run Mojave, but would max out at OS X El Capitan, and can’t download anything beyond El Capitan through the App Store.

Well it does look like there's an upgrade path after doing a bit of digging. It may not be supported by Apple, but I will give it a whirl.
