my phone isn’t working

My phone isn’t letting me download apps, take pictures, open up any apps, accept calls, send messages. I’ve paid for extra space twice and it’s not changing anything..

If you paid for extra space twice.. are you indicating that your device is full and that may be the reason for all of this?

One thing to note, paying for extra iCloud space does not necessarily save space on your phone.

Assuming this a storage space issue, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage to see what's taking up all your space. You might have to clean some stuff out or remove apps. If there is a significant amount of 'other' storage (>10GB) you may have to backup, reset and restore your phone.

If photos is the main thing taking up space.. have you turned on iCloud photos? If so, there is a selection you can make to optimize storage on your phone. It saves a reduced resolution photo on your phone and full resolution in iCloud.
