I have a damaged phone and would like to see if I still have my warranty and if not what do I need to get a new phone

Apple warranty Hi, i bought an iphone from someone without receipt but the phone is still under warranty. In case i need some repair or anything where will i go? Apple store or to the shop where the phone was bought? (which i dont know).

The warranty does not cover accidental damage at all.
