descriptive audio on amazon prime
Can't shut it off.
Tried. All the stuff on the TV. On the apple box. Found nothing on Prime.
Wildly annoying.

There are two settings that might affect Audio/Video Descriptions; the first is a universal setting (available on Apple TV 2 and later and can be found at Settings ➔ General ➔ Accessibility ➔ Audio/Video Descriptions, and the second is an individual setting that affects the movie being played (Apple TV HD & 4k), this is effected by swiping down whilst the movie is playing and changing the language setting from “Your Language (AD)” to “Your Language” in the “Audio” tab.
With some titles it may be necessary to set the subtitles to none to eliminate Audio/Video Descriptions. Swipe down whilst the movie is playing (Apple TV HD & 4k) or press and hold the “Select/Centre” button (Apple TV 2/3) and change the subtitle setting from “Auto” to “None” in the “Subtitle” tab.
