Brand new AirPods- left one not working

just brought brand new AirPods took out box and set up using instructions. All looks connect but only the right one is working. I have tried resetting and reconnecting several times but still just right one is working. Help!

Should that not help, you can return your AirPods to Apple within 14 days of purchase for either a replacement set or a refund.
