Proximity Sensor on iPhone 11

I’ve seen discussions on black screen problems with proximity sensor. My proximity sensor problem is while making a phone call my cheek hits keys on screen beeping & making it impossible to talk normally except through speaker. Looking in the mirror during these calls the screen looks black but my face will still start hitting numbers, then muting and/or FaceTime. My phone is against my face. This shouldn’t happen. It got so bad to the point I could ONLY use speaker I received a new iPhone 11 from Apple after Apple Store check, 6 service calls, and over 30 hours.
