I just received a call that my iCloud has been compromised, how do I confirm that?

I just received a call that my iCloud has been compromised, how do I confirm that it has been compromised? The automated call called my home number and asked for me to hit “1” to continue buy I just hung up since I wasn’t sure it it was a scam

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
